PotHot.

Went to Hotpot last night also with the uni kids. Ivan and I were running late so eventually once we found parking we ran to the restaurant… only to realise we were running in the wrong direction LOLOL. 4 blocks later, we reached the place, sweating and all.. well I was.

Anyway, fun night celebrating the May birthdays. Went to Rickys after to play some pictionary — once again I remain undefeated.  I got paired with Seline. We were off to a slow start, and Ricky and I had a sidebet of $5 so competitive mode was on. Lots of fun, gigglin’ and stuff cos its what we do. lololol (Looking at you, Van and Jason!!)

CCJ

Had a ClubCJ fundraiser yesterday morning. Woke up bright and early to amazing weather then headed off to Ground Zero tints to meet up with Miguel.  Made our way to Bicentennial Park afterwards then met up with the rest of the lancer owners.

In total there were 14 lancers that showed up, with lucky door prizes for those who donated. I’ve only ever been to 2 other meets but I knew few of the people there. Anyway, I ended up with a $100 MRT voucher and.. well shit, I never win anything so this was awesome.

Pics taken by Nick (second in the photo below). Below also, is Rake (from MightyCarMods on youtube), Nick the co-organiser of the event and who will be cycling 200km for cancer), Dave, me (random asian), Jade (also cycling 200km), and Miguel.

I’m in love with these rims. What can I say, gunmetal looks pretty… gun… on a black car. Need them on my car when I gets the dolla dolla.

Hows Fings

J’s bday was on Friday, awesome fun. Of the times spent at Pontoon this year, every night is always a good night. Except that one time when I didn’t drink. lol. Actually screw that, you can always have fun w/ frieeendz.

Anyway, to the people asking me hows life/things/everything/work — work is work, apart from me going into specifics, I can’t really get comfortable explaining the behind-the-scenes intricacies working at McGrath entails without boring you to death after the first 5 words.

But anyway, good weather, good company!

Taking Back Sunday concert was last night @ Luna Park.  Saw them with the Jerritissimo.

We got there in time for The Maine, who kinda sucked, but TBS made up for it. Also saw a bitchfight in the mosh. The girls pulling other girls’ hair type.  Seedy guy was also grabbing Jelli’s ass LOL. She got annoyed so moved away from him, but he moved behind her again.

Went to Stratty after for dessert then headed home. 4 hours sleep after getting Heist to work with Simo.

Happy Easter!

Grand Canyon, Cliff Top and Braeside Bushwalk!

Yesterday a handful of the UTS kids + Lennys mates went along for a bushwalk into the b-e-a-utiful Blue Mountains National Park.

Awesome weather, awesome company. We began our 1.5 hour drive to the starting point at 11am, expecting to be there 12.30pm. We were then greeted with awesome traffic. This delayed our walk by a lot, and by a lot I’m talking over 2 hours. We ended up getting to the place just before 3pm. Considering sunset began at 5.44pm, we were chasing daylight, but proceeded to the walk.

Decending into the canyon was a breeze. Dry rocks and steep declines leading into a lush avatar-pandora-esque environment made it worthwhile. It was hell dense down there (heyhey). Along the path, there was a batcave we had to go through and it was literally pitch black in there. Another instance where we had to balance on this log to get across a stream. It was heaps fun.

… until the incline to Evans Lookout. This shit was intense. As it always is. Ok, the first hour or so was doable. It wasn’t until after that, that some of us started to feel the burn.  After you finish a set of steps, more of them just appeared out of nowhere. There was alsoa  part where it was nothing but mud… you could not avoid it, and your shoes would just end up looking like turd. We eventually got over that and found a picnic spot.  A picnic spot. Right in the middle of bloody nowhere.

Anyway, we eventually reached the top.. somehow, and then it was another 4km walk to our car… this was back on suburban streets. And it was already dark. Lucky we got out of the bush by then though.

We were all pretty hungry so we then stopped by maccas and ordered the feast of Kings.

I also used my Camelbak that I got form Catch of the Day. Served me well :D
