Keep on Moooovin’

So we have now moved into our new-old house in Gwood. We’re still getting up to speed with everything, but so far its been a pretty smooth transition. Removalists came in yesterday and took all the large items, also used all our cars to transport boxes.  I would like to also mention it was raining yesterday, and moving dirty ass boxes + rain = dirty looking car.  Inside I was annoyed, but then I thought, I’m just going to clean her, make her look like new again.

So I attempted to do that straight away today, but the sun came out at maximum speed and x2 sunray strength that it just dried everything up instantly. Common sense to avoid heat during the hottest time of the day… that which I did not have.

Anyway, most of everything has been moved, cleaning at the old house is underway while I sit here and blog.  The trips back and forth have been awesome because I get to drive. :D:D

Random pic of the removalist truck.

They’re backin’ up, backin’ up, backin’ up, backin’ up.. cos their daddy taught them good.

Also running wireless up in this….

… its not exactly as awesome as a cabled network, but it gets the job done…slower. HEYYA.

Our family/names got published in the Church bulletin. Veryyy awesome indeed since we attended our first mass at the Stanhope church today. St Pats Blacktown, you have served us well! :)

Took dad out for fathers day tonight even though its tomorrow, had Chinese. Peking Duck, fried noodles, special fried rice and honey chicken. All of my faves. Now with this whole “I want an iPad 3 when it comes out” business…

So being at our current house for.. 15+ years now, I guess it was time to move on - to the new Rouse Hill area!  No longer under the Blacktown City Council.  The neighbourhood, and the atmosphere, and proximity to shops and transport is generally what I love about the location too.  As well as the house we picked to drop on the land.  Hopefully all goes to plan.
